Diane Wiggs writes romance with a dash of danger. Her protector/romantic suspense novels include steamy tension and a hint of humor. When she’s not writing, this Midwestern girl is juggling all of life’s tasks. Occasionally, she takes a break to read a book, go on an ATV ride, or just relax at home with her husband, son, and two crazy canines.

Her debut novel Suspect My Heart (formerly titled Free My Heart) was a finalist in RWA's Golden Heart writing contest for unpublished authors in 2019, and also finaled in both the Lone Star Writing Contest and the Pages From The Heart Writing Contest in 2018 in the romantic suspense category.

Diane's second novel Protect My Heart was a finalist in the 2019 Emily Writing Contest, took second place in the 2019 Maggie Awards in the romantic suspense category, and was a finalist in the 2022 Published Maggie Awards.
